The disciplinary slap in education is frowned upon because it is a form of physical violence and can have long-lasting negative effects on the child's emotional and psychological well-being. It can also create a hostile and unsafe learning environment for the child, and can lead to a breakdown of trust between the student and the teacher. In cases of extreme boundary violations, such as physical abuse, the use of physical discipline can exacerbate the trauma and harm experienced by the child, and can further perpetuate a cycle of violence. It is important for educators to find alternative, non-violent methods of discipline and to prioritize the safety and well-being of their students. **
